CarriersScore — Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

DRAFT v0.1 — for attorney review. Not legal advice.

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Last updated: June 7, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy governs all access to the CarriersScore websites, applications, data, and APIs (the "Service"). It is incorporated into the Website Terms of Use and the Subscriber Terms of Service. Violation is a material breach and may result in suspension or termination, forfeiture of fees, and legal action.

1. Prohibited purposes

You may not use the Service or any output:

2. No scraping, harvesting, or automated extraction

You may not, and may not permit others to: use robots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, or any automated means to access, monitor, index, copy, or extract the Service or its data except through interfaces we expressly provide (e.g., the API within its limits); perform bulk downloads or systematic retrieval; aggregate or cache outputs to build or train a competing dataset, database, score, or model; or frame, mirror, or deep-link in a way that misrepresents the Service. Authorization to access the Service is conditioned on compliance with this Section; access by prohibited automated means is unauthorized.

3. No circumvention; security

You may not circumvent or attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, usage quotas, watermarking, access controls, or other technical protections; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization; interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; introduce malware; or access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access. Authorized security research, if any, must follow our [responsible-disclosure / vulnerability policy — URL]. [CONFIRM whether to publish one.]

4. No resale, redistribution, or unauthorized display

Except as expressly permitted by your plan or a written agreement, you may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, broadcast, or publicly display the Service's data, Scores, reports, or outputs, or use them on behalf of an unlicensed third party. You may not remove or alter any Score's context, disclaimers, sourcing, confidence, or as-of date, or present a Score as a statement of fact.

5. Accounts and credentials

One account per authorized user unless we agree otherwise; do not share credentials, create accounts by automated means, impersonate others, or provide false registration or verification information.

6. Content you submit

You are responsible for data and documents you upload and for having the rights and consents to do so. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or others' personal information without authorization. We may remove content that violates this AUP or the law.

7. Rate limits and fair use

We may impose and enforce rate limits, quotas, and reasonable-use thresholds and may throttle, suspend, or charge for excessive or abusive usage.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for actual or suspected violations and pursue all available remedies, including injunctive relief and recovery of damages and fees.

9. Reporting

Report suspected abuse, security issues, or prohibited use to info@carriersscore.com.

Signal responses and user-posted content

Verified company accounts may post responses ("context") to cross-reference

signals shown on their profile. Responses must be factual and relevant to the

signal. You agree not to post: personal data of any individual (including Social

Security, license, or financial account numbers), abusive or threatening

language, accusations of crimes against named third parties, advertising, or

content intended to mislead subscribers. Responses are screened automatically at

submission, published with attribution and an immutable edit history, and may be

reported by any subscriber. CarriersScore may remove responses that violate this

policy; removal is logged and the response history is retained. Posting a

response does not waive your right to dispute the underlying data under the Data

Sourcing & Dispute Policy.
